About Striko – SU Reverse Acting Metal Rupture Disc

Striko SU reverse acting metal rupture discs (bursting discs) are high precision safety devices for overpressure protection that are installed in a standard holder SHU or in a pre-torqued holder SHU Pro between flanges. When the process pressure reaches the pre-defined limit, the disc opens to relieve the system keeping personal and plant safe.

Striko SU series can be used as a primary or secondary relief device and can also be used in combination with a safety valve. They are ideal for pulsating working pressures of medium to high strength.

SU-C series is a concave domed C-scored rupture disc that fulfills the highest requirement of tightness. The SU-C is ideally suited to processes with gases, vapours and liquids with gas cushion reliability. Due to being non-fragmenting, it has the largest possible flow cross-section and is idealy suited for installing in front of a safety relief valve. They are installed in Striko SHU and SHU Pro holders.

SU-R series is a concave domed burst safety device. The bursting foil on the robust shear ring will be torn up in case of response. The SU-R protects processes with gases, vapours and liquids with gas cushion reliability. Due to its non-fragmenting design, it is ideal for installing in front of a safety valve. For pulsating operating pressures of medium to high intensity, the SU-R is the ideal pressure protection component for your system. Materials selected for the specific application, allow the use even with corrosive media of media that tends to cake on surfaces. They are installed in Striko SHU and SHU Pro holders.
