Safety valves are protected when using Striko SZ-X, SU-R or SU-C rupture discs in front of them. With this combination, you prevent fugitive emissions, stop viscous process media reaching the safety valve and thereby protect them from being blocked as well as extend the lifespan of the valves reducing overall maintenance costs.

SZ-X series is a convex domed cross-scored rupture disc that fulfills the highest requirement of tightness. The SZ-X is ideally suited for processes with medium to high pressures as well as volatile media where it protects your process reliably. Due to its non-fragmenting bursting, it can be easily installed in combination with a safety valve. It’s “Fail-Safe” design ensures that should it be installed incorrectly, it will fail at or below the specified burst pressure.

SU-C series is a concave domed C-scored rupture disc that fulfills the highest requirement of tightness. The SU-C is ideally suited to processes with gases, vapours and liquids with gas cushion reliability. Due to being non-fragmenting, it has the largest possible flow cross-section and is ideally suited for installing in front of a safety relief valve. They are installed in Striko SHU and SHU Pro holders.

SU-R series is a concave domed burst safety device. The bursting foil on the robust shear ring will be torn up in case of response. The SU-R protects processes with gases, vapours and liquids with gas cushion reliability. Due to its non-fragmenting design, it is ideal for installing in front of a safety valve. For pulsating operating pressures of medium to high intensity, the SU-R is the ideal pressure protection component for your system. Materials selected for the specific application, allow the use even with corrosive media of media that tends to cake on surfaces. They are installed in Striko SHU and SHU Pro holders.
