About Richter – NK PFA / PTFE Lined Butterfly Valves

The selection of fluoroplastic linings, the large temperature / pressure range and the numerous options permit a tailor-made solution for virtually every application involving highly corrosive and ultrapure media.

The body comes in wafer or lug for all plant pipe configurations. The double action, maintenance-free and self-adjusting top and bottom stem sealing is reliable even with high switching cycles and fluctuating temperatures. The thick walled PTFE and TFM-PTFE lining of the valve body is 3 to 3.5mm thick and provides high permeation resistance and is vacuum proof. Optional materials for the body include stainless steel or Vinyl Ester and for lining include PFA-L and UHMW-PE.

It has proven successful for isolation, on/off and control throughout the chemical industry on CL₂ NaOH, H₂S₄, HCL and many other aggressive applications.

The low torque enables you to fit smaller pneumatic actuators and the narrow face to face reduces the installation space required. Our valve automation centres in Secunda and Durban are able to mount all actuators, valve positioners and switch boxes very quickly.
