The Storagetech Model 100 Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve also known as a Pressure Vacuum Vent or Conservation Vent, is a safety device designed to protect storage tanks or pressure vessels against overpressure pressure or excessive vacuum and to reduce the evaporation of the tank contents to the atmosphere.

They are mounted to a flange or pipe on the storage tank above the vapour space. By installing these valves, high value products that could be lost while the storage tank is “breathing” are significantly reduced. As the Model 100 retains toxic product vapours, contamination to the atmosphere is also significantly reduced. These vents have factory pre-set pallet assemblies that comply with your specifications. When air pressure exceeds the pre-set setting of the Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve, the pallet opens, lifting off the seal expelling any excessive negative or positive pressure. They can be weight or spring loaded depending on your requirements and are available in a pipe-away design (Model 120) for toxic vapours.
